Ironic full stop to long running story
AN ironic 'full stop' has been put to the long-running story of Lanark woman Christine King being rehoused in Biggar in a home totally unsuited to her needs as a disabled person.
Since last summer the Gazette has been reporting the progress of the case in which Mrs King claimed that South Lanarkshire Council had hastily and carelessly handled her request to be re-housed from her long-time home in Lanark's Rhyber Avenue.
